Baxter Imaging LLC was officially started in August 2003, by Michael and Heather Baxter.     After graduating in 1998 with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from University of Arizona, Michael     worked for Exponent Failure Analysis Associates from 1999 to 2003. As one of three members     of VCOM (Visual Communication) his primary focus involved high-speed photography, videography,     and digital imaging of vehicle testing. This highly technical environment provided an opportunity to     work with both traditional film and electronic imaging equipment in a variety of applications,     as well as becoming self-taught in programs like Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, & DVD Studio.     With ambitions to pursue a more creative outlet, Michael became a freelancer for video production     companies throughout the Valley, working extensively with Broadcast Rentals. These projects     ranged from corporate and academic events to PBR (Professional Bull Riding) and Nascar     productions, across Arizona, Nevada, and California.     In 2004 Michael shifted his focus :) and became the luxury home photographer of choice for     Swallows And Associates Realty, and continues to do so currently. Since this time he has     specialized in architectural and interior photography of residential and commercial properties.         From September of 2005 through April 2007, Michael also worked part-time as the Phoenix     videographer for The Open House Show, a weekly series on FOX 10, showcasing available     homes and properties of virtually the entire greater Phoenix area.     Throughout 2006 Michael began photographing for several publications by the Arizona Republic,     including AZ Magazine (formerly 85255), AZ Society, Arrowhead Life, and Exclusive Estates.     In 2007 Michael became a qualified, professional member of an international organization called the     AIAP, Association of Independent Architectural Photographers. With a only a small group of members     in the state of Arizona, this organization is comprised of a dedicated group of photographers who     specialize in architectural and interior photography and work by an established code of ethics.     Baxter Imaging continued its progression toward publication photography, contracting work with     Desert Living Magazine, Arcadia Home, Latino Perspectives, and the Scottsdale Downtowner.     In 2008 Michael became an Associate Member of an national organization called the ASMP,     American Society of Media Photographers, as well as the Architectural Specialty Group.     Michael and Heather are dedicated to providing quality photography for a variety of professionals,     throughout the greater Phoenix area and beyond.
